If it's too hot in the house, move into an even hotter apartment...

So we did it, we moved this last weekend in 95° weather. My mom and sister came had helped which was awesome, flynn and I would have had lots of fun doing it by ourselves.

Long story short, it was hot, and on Sunday nite my clutch cable broke in my car (in the middle of the intersection). When I called AAA for a tow they said I never paid my bill 8 months ago! Even though i've used my AAA card several times since and I know I paid it...After 45min on the phone with the jerks I finally gave up. Luckily my mama was there and also had a towing service.

$83 later, the garage just called and said my car's done. Yippy.

garage sailing away...

Garage sale went good yesterday. We sold about half of our stuff, then someone came this morning and bought three large things so that was good. I just put up "everything free" signs...but no takers yet. I don't want this stuff anymore. If people don't come and take it, we just have to take it to goodwill tomorrow. meh.

I'm figuring the lack of people today is due to the graduation at OSU...not much traffic.

I talked more to Jessica and emailed Lizzy (the owner of the house) about letting out the house. Looks like it's going to be too expensive for Jessica but I'm going to try to work something out, even if I have to pay a little more. It will only be for 4 months until Lizzy gets back and we (or I) find somewhere else to live. I'm not too worried about it.

I wish people would come take my stuff...

on the horizon

First and foremost I need to get my visa! I'm starting to get worried cause if it really takes the full 8 weeks to process I will be receiving it on the 4th of August and I'm planning on leaving the 9th. That's a little too close for me.

Second I need to buy my plan ticket. Looks like it will be around $650, Dara will reimburse.

I've contacted Jessica, she is the German woman who also is moving to Dublin and will be working with Treasa's husband. Should work out great to be housemates. She doesn't speak much English but it's probably a lot better than my German. The two years I took in HS has faded fast. It will be a great opportunity for us both to learn more.

This weekend: garage sale
Next weekend: move to apartment

Life will be normal for two weeks

Then off to Alaska for a week or pure vacation!

Then one week left in the states and at last off to Ireland to start the next chapter in this book.

Everyone told me to, so here it is. I will try to keep posts current, we'll see I'm not very good at updating these kinda things. But I have a feeling I'm going to be having some free time on my hands.
